A focused setting for learning
Simulator sessions can give an instructor and student a place to work through procedures and decision-making without conducting a flight. Ask which scenarios and training goals the available device supports.
The Redbird full-motion simulator is FAA approved. Contact Skyview to arrange a session and confirm the training location and booking details.
Published simulator rates
The current school website lists $85 per hour for the simulator and $50 per hour for a certified flight instructor. These are published reference rates, not a guaranteed quote.
Ask whether the charges are combined for your session, how briefing time is billed, and whether the rates remain current. The $50 rate is listed in the simulator section and is not assumed to be the airplane flight-instruction rate.
Ask about training credit
The FAA-approved Redbird simulator can support structured practice. The amount and type of loggable credit depend on the device approval, training activity, instructor involvement, and applicable FAA requirements.
Your instructor can explain which parts of your planned session qualify for credit and how the session will be recorded.
